I've been a graphic designer for about 15 years, and in that time, I've seen some things. And ironically, it ain't always pretty.

In fact, behind the scenes, creating graphics isn't "pretty" until about 30 minutes before the design presentation. When designers clean everything up, mentally rehearse their pitch, and steel their defenses, in case their precious creation is rejected.

Before all that? It's a mess. It's 600 slightly different variations of the same thing. It's chaotic, unsure, half-baked, and not quite right.

But now, whether you like it or not, YOU'RE a designer too (you can thank Canva for that), so you've probably noticed just how ugly it can get when you're sitting alone with your design.
